Complete series of Sherlock Holmes - 'UNABRIDGED'

What?? why it's called Complete and Unabridged? And Collector’s Edition??

An unabridged book is a book that does not pass through the hands (pen) of an editor or censor. It is a book that is the same length as the author wrote it, it has no missing parts/words/pages/thoughts. From the authors hands to yours without passing through someone who would change its length or meaning. If you read much at all you know what a précis -a synopsis or shorter version of what the author wrote that is an abridged edition -as was written on this topic, like the Readers Digest books. Read the same book only someone other than the author's version. So, 'UNABRIDGED' means from the author to you.
