The Greedy Monkey And The Peaceful Tortoise and other stories is the second collection of stories for children written by Padma Gunasekara, the author/translator of repute and winner f several literary awards. All four stories in this collection were originally written in Sinhala the first story by late Gamini Gunasekara and the other three stories by author herself. The stories were later translated into English by her. Children in the age group of 8-10 will enjoy reading these stories written in simple language.
