Shiroza Wadood ventures into fiction, follows her many experiences with poetry. Although unpublished her poems penetrated into many levels of the human condition- emotional, mental and the psychological. She has a remarkable command over English language. Being a teacher of English literature, she has a B.A. from the University of Peradeniya with English as a subject and a Master in Education. Her pursuit of creativity has been promoted by her exposure to English Literature and education.

Her debut novel AISLE OF DESTINY probes human relationships caught in unforeseen circumstances- presumably breaking traditional marital conventions and even the existing law of today. And that is just the beginning of the twist of fate that changes their lives. Will they be able to defy fate and spend a lifetime together? Or does kismet have something else in store for them.
