It was crazy.

Standing in a tiny look-out post with a

paralyzed man beside me, pushing myself to

kidnap a prince from a palace, were the few of

many things that were driving me insane.

I looked at my shivering hands unconsciously,

stretching them towards the moonbeams that

were floating into the tiny room. One of them

had the golden ring, or the fire. The other one

had the white gold ring, or the ice.

It was a battle between fire and ice, and no one

ever knew which was more powerful. Fire

could vanish ice, and ice could finish fire.
